This performance project, held in Harehills, Leeds, explored young womxn’s personal reflections on public and private identity, looking at what it means to be a young womxn in the age of social media and contemporary societal challenges. Collaborating with five young womxn, we delved into themes of gender, identity, love, power, transformation, masks, shadows, the toltec secret, mythology, healing, and shamanism to create a powerful dance piece and stage costumes.
